PUERTO CAOBA

Artha Capital

A Food hall that invites you to enjoy, within reach of the inhabitants of the Port of Veracruz.

We joined the real estate developer team and investment fund Artha Capital to design the Food hall and entertainment area of the Puerto Caoba shopping center.

We carry out the experience and marketing strategy of the space with our methodology.

Together with our business partners, who are experts in the field of market research, we analyze the square to map and create the most viable and profitable tenant mix. Then, with our Aesthetic aspirations study RRR, we reflect in the design proposal what the future consumers wish to see, in harmony with the concept of the entire set of four levels facing the sea of Veracruz.

Our conceptual design not only modulated the spaces to make the most of them but also integrated the aesthetic elements of the brand and emphasized the naming, even with details such as the materials palette and vegetables, proposing the use of endemic species to give users the feeling that they were outside, even in an indoor space.

Together with the Architectural Executive Project, we also developed the technical part. All mechanical and own facilities plans for a catering area were created, and complemented by a VR tour.

A place to feel relaxed, regain family togetherness in collective spaces and awaken the spirit of play.

CREATIVE RATIONAL

Mahogany, the Veracruz fruit.

When the Spanish first set foot on American lands, they saw how the natives were transported along their rivers in small boats made of reddish wood of exceptional qualities. They used fire and not the edge of metal to shape the trunks that reached up to 3 meters in diameter and 70 meters in height.

Philip II of Spain, convinced of the benefits of Swietenia macrophylla King, decided to exploit it and spread its trade throughout Europe.

In rudimentary utilitarian objects, masterpieces of cabinetmaking or even in medicinal remedies, mahogany has been, and is, part of the economy, daily life, landscape and identity of the people of Veracruz.
