La Caja de Cristal is a coffee shop specialized in Mexican gourmet coffee extraction methods. Its name is inspired by the story of the journey Mathieu de Clieu made from Europe to America in the 18th century; he traveled with a coffee plant which he protected with a glass case to withstand the rigors of the transatlantic journey.
We focus on storytelling to stimulate interest in the origin of the product and promote awareness of conscious consumption and appreciation of the high quality of both the raw material and the extraction processes.
Appealing to the historical aspect, we shaped the brand with an identity supported by illustrations. The engraving style and organic shapes contrast with minimalist elements that give it a sense of contemporaneity and generate fluid communication in all applications: communication pieces, website design, menus and packaging for coffee sales, and branch interior design. .
