W / W

W Hotels / Warner Bros. Pictures

With the "W" from wow! We have brought together two great brands to connect with their shared audience.

We have found a niche to increase Hotel W Mexico City's media exposure by entering into a strategic alliance with Warner Bros. Pictures to grow awareness of owning and releasing movies that are aligned with the market.

WW84 SUITE

How would the room in which Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman stayed, would look in the year 1984?

Inspired by the Comex brand's color of the year, which by the way, was the basis for the film's color palette. We presented Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins producers of the film, the idea of turning one of the hotel rooms into an Instagram opportunity for those who wanted to book and travel to the 80's and feel part of the movie, supported by Mexico's Warner Bros. team.

They agreed, and with the help of designer Penélope de la Madrid, we created an interior full of dynamism, vitality and energy. It was perfectly complemented by neon lights, elements from the saga's image and memorable collectibles reminiscent of the golden age when people just wanted to have fun. In addition, we created the Golden Lasso of Truth, a cocktail inspired by the flavors of the 1980s.

With this campaign, we achieved global media relevance, as no other house -not even the W in Washington, where scenes of the movie were filmed- has run such an attention-grabbing campaign to raise awareness of the brands associated with this adventure.

Two major global brands sharing their passion points.

BLUE PILL / RED PILL EXPERIENCE

Just like we did with the escape room for the Suicide Squad movie, we conceptualized the Matrix Resurrections party.

Lana Wachowski and her production authorized the idea to attract fans of the saga and a whole generation of followers of science fiction and digital culture. Without a doubt, an experience to remember: they had to choose between taking the blue pill—and remaining seduced into the lie—or the red pill and discovering how deep the hole leads out of the matrix.

Going up the elevator in which Morpeheus took Neo, located in the backstage of W Mexico City, attendees arrived at the presidential suite to have The Choice cocktail and remember the emblematic scenes with the film's soundtrack. Then the electronic dancehall gave way, creating the perfect set to warm up the engines and, later, enjoy the premiere of the latest installment of the saga in cinemas.
