Reviving the Art Déco essence of Colonia Condesa in an intimate hotel that welcomes the world's trendsetters.

An icon of elegance and charm in the heart of Mexico City. 

We embark on a journey to revive this historic gem and breathe new life into it through an exquisite fusion of design, history and Art Déco essence.

Located in the vibrant Condesa neighborhood, the Hippodrome Hotel rises majestically on the iconic Amsterdam Avenue, reminiscent of the golden age of the Hippodrome. Our aim was clear: to rescue and celebrate the rich history of this location by incorporating elements of the equestrian culture that once inhabited the area.

The Art Deco essence permeates every corner and immerses guests in a journey through time, where luxury meets modernity. From the façade to the interior design, every detail has been carefully designed to create a unique and captivating experience.

As you walk through the rooms, you will discover a harmonious symbiosis between the rich history of the Amsterdam racetrack and the majesty of the horses that once galloped on the old Condesa racecourse. The iconography and design of the horses, together with the colour tones of the surroundings, create a visual narrative that pays homage to the past while embracing the present with sophistication and style.

The visual identity is used consistently across various applications, from the hotel's stationery and signage to its online presence. We opted for a combination of clean, elegant lines and a logo that conveys a sense of tradition and class.
